Medication at school

Hackberry Hill does not supply any medications for students.                                 Medication Form

Elementary school students are not allowed to carry any medications or keep medication in their backpack at any time. However, Jeffco Schools does allow students with severe medical issues to possess and self-administer medications in accordance with the Colorado School Children's Asthma and Anaphylaxis Health Management Act. ONLY students who meet the criteria defined in the Code of Conduct may carry their own medication. These situations are handled by the area nurse in conjunction with the health aide, parent and student. Otherwise medications must stay in the school health room.
